How much does a Gondola cruise cost?

What does a Gondola ride include?

Answer:

It's a private, 75 minute long ride with music, ice, real glasses and plates, and a bottle opener on board. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks on board.

What is the tipping policy?

Answer:

Gratuity is appreciated, typically in the range of 20% to 25%.

Can I bring food?

Answer:

Yes, however, we recommend finger foods, as utensils are difficult to use on the gondola.

How long is each cruise?

Answer:

Each ride is usually about an hour and fifteen minutes long. Feel free to contact us over the phone if you would like to make special arrangements. You can also request an extended ride while on board the gondola but there are no guarantees that we will be able to extend.

What is the best time to go?

Answer:

There is no specific time we consider "the best time." You should choose a time that works well with other plans you may have for the evening. Don't be late.

Will the Gondolier sing?

Answer:

There is Italian-style music playing on the boat. You may also bring your own CD or tape if you would like. Traditionally, the gondolier does not sing, however, some of the gondoliers may choose to sing a song or two. Song and quality are not guaranteed.

How should I dress?

Answer:

There is no dress code on the Gondola. High heels are not recommended.

Does the boat ever tip over?

Answer:

No. All of our gondoliers are licensed captains and adhere to strict regulations. Life jackets are on board per Coast Guard regulation.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Answer:

Yes. Reservations are required. Please call well in advance.

How do I make a reservation?

Answer:

Call 800-277-1390 or 201-919-1999. A name and phone number are needed. We need a credit card to guarantee the ride. If possible, we'd also like to know how you found us.

Can I make a reservation online?

Answer:

Reservations can be initiated online here, but must be finalized over the phone. You can also contact us online with questions. It is best to call due to special requests, credit card info, etc.

What if it rains?

Answer:

We sail rain or shine. If it is raining in the morning, that does not mean we are not still going. Rain during the day does not mean it will rain at night. We will call you 2 hours prior to the ride if we do have to cancel.

What if I'm late?

Answer:

Please, don't be. If you arrive late your tour might be cut short; it will end as previously scheduled so as not to delay the next scheduled cruise. We advise arriving 15 minutes early.

How long are Gift Certificates valid?

Answer:

Gift Certificates are valid for ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.
